FAQs
What is an Oxygen Bar?
An oxygen bar is a designated bar area where people sit and breathe pure oxygen and aromatherapy through a disposable nasal cannula (nose hose). An oxygen concentrator (generator) produces our oxygen using the ambient air we breathe every day and separates the nitrogen with a molecule filter.
How does it work?
Seats are available for customers. Disposable nasal cannulas or “nose hoses” are attached to the oxy/aroma unit at one end and looped into the nostrils at the others secured behind the ears. We instruct our customers to breathe deeply through their noses and exhale through their mouths.
How long does a session last?
A session should last from about 10 – 15 minutes to provide maximum benefits.
How much does it cost?
Starting at $2/minute – Minimum 30 minutes
What are the benefits of Oxygen Therapy?
The body uses oxygen to rebuild itself, detoxify the blood, and strengthen its immune system. Just ten minutes of pure oxygen breathing improves concentration and alertness.
How does Oxygen Aromatherapy make you feel?
There are several benefits to breathing higher oxygen concentrations; the most commonly reported benefits are increased energy, a feeling of freshness, clearer thinking, relief of toxic headaches, relief of stress, and an increase in concentration. In addition to being a proven detoxifier, oxygen also has anti-aging properties.
Is it harmful to breathe oxygen in an oxygen bar?
Oxygen has no risks or adverse effects when used short term. According to the American Lung Association, breathing oxygen from an oxygen bar for less than 30 minutes (one oxygen bar session) does not cause harm. There is no evidence that the oxygen that is used in bars is harmful to people of normal health. Oxygen bars are not intended for treating, curing, preventing, diagnosing, or preventing any illness.
